A drone guarding the tracks |
Norway: It is necessary to constantly inspect the railway tracks and now a drone has been developed to inspect them by walking on the tracks.
Whether it is Pakistan or the United States, it is necessary to constantly review the railway tracks. Human inspectors do their job for this, but they have to get out of their way when the train arrives. That is why a drone has now been built on the rail which has been named Stalker BG300.
The drone, which is powered by a Norwegian company Nordic Inmand, has been developed. Its special wheels help it run like a train on a railway line. However, as soon as the train comes from the front, it feels it and rises in the air. After the train passes, he grabs the track again and starts walking on it. Many petals have been planted to blow it up.
Thanks to its special wheels, the drone runs on railway lines. It can also be slowed down to a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. This is because the slower speed makes it easier to inspect the tracks. Otherwise, the drone can run very fast on these tracks and reach a speed of 200 km per hour.
With the help of state-of-the-art cameras and sensors, it keeps track of tracks. If a part is rusting, it can be sprayed with oil. As soon as a train comes from the front, it immediately flies away. Due to its condition, it can move from one track to another.
The drone is designed to support the European railway network and will begin commercial production by mid-next year.
